Thunderbird is a free email application that's easy to set up and customize - and it's loaded with great features. Mozilla Thunderbird is a free, open source, cross-platform email, news, and chat client developed by the Mozilla Foundation.
Thunderbird can manage multiple email, newsgroup, and news feed accounts and supports multiple identities within accounts. Features such as quick search, saved search folders ("virtual folders"), advanced message filtering, message grouping, and labels help manage and find messages. On Linux-based systems, system mail (movemail) accounts are supported.
This articles guides user to configure their emails accounts created using the Webuzo Email Management Service to Mozilla Thunderbird.
Getting Started
Requirements :
1) Email Account Created using Webuzo. Guide
2) Download and Install Mozilla Thunderbird.
Step 1) Click on "Create a New Account" in Thunderbird to configure a New Account
Step 2) Populate the required fields and Hit Continue.
a) Your Name : Name for the Email Account
b) Email Address
c) Password to the Email Account
Step 3) Sit back and relax. Thunderbird with find for you the rest of the configurations on the basis of the details served in Step 2.
Step 4) Hit "Done" and you are good to go.
Step 5) That's it!!! You are now ready to send/receive emails to your box.
